Triangle Sound Service is owned and operated by Brooks Frederickson. Brooks’ background is performing, composing, and studying music. He is versed in a variety of genres of music, from old school soul to modern indie and loves to collaborate with his clients on playlists that reflect their tastes and their vision for their events.

His view on DJing is that DJing is a service job. He is there to serve his clients and to give them the party that sounds like them. He knows he is not the star of the show, you are!

Brooks recently received his PhD in Music Composition from Duke University where he studies and writes music involving electronics and synthesizers. Brooks and his partner live in Carrboro with their young son.
